Gold bar prices in Uzbekistan have sharply increased again

The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has announced the updated selling prices for measured gold bars for April 9 of this year. Zamin.uz reported this.
Based on the situation in the global market, changes are being observed in the value of precious metals. Specifically, it should be noted that the price of one gram of gold has increased by 30,600 soums compared to the previous figure.
Currently, the prices of gold bars offered for sale by banks have been set according to their weight. A five-gram gold bar is 9 million 593 thousand soums, and a ten-gram bar is 19 million 187 thousand soums.
Also, twenty-gram bars are being sold for 38 million 374 thousand soums, fifty-gram bars for 95 million 935 thousand soums, and large one-hundred-gram bars for 191 million 869 thousand soums. These measured gold bars can be purchased at branches of all commercial banks in our country.
However, it is recommended that citizens check the availability of gold bars by phone before visiting bank offices. Due to the rapid growth of gold prices in the global market, the demand for this asset among the public has increased significantly.
As a result, stocks of gold bars in many bank branches may run out quickly. Therefore, verifying the information before making a purchase will prevent potential inconveniences.
Banks are trying to create the most convenient conditions for customers, but due to high demand, shortages in some regions are considered a natural occurrence.
