US completely destroyed Iran's missile production infrastructure
Against the backdrop of the complex situation in the Middle East, US officials have come forward with important statements regarding the results of military operations carried out against Iran. Zamin.uz reported this.

According to US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, during the military actions, country troops succeeded in completely destroying Iran's missile production infrastructure. The head of the ministry specifically noted that this operation was a key priority of the US military mission.

According to him, Iran's defense industry has been almost entirely crippled, and Tehran is now deprived of the ability to produce missiles and other types of modern weaponry. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Kane also commented on the situation, stating that the American army is ready for any scenario.

According to him, if given the appropriate task by Donald Trump, strikes against Iran could resume as soon as the ceasefire agreement expires. Kane emphasized that the ceasefire is only a temporary pause and that the armed forces remain in a constant state of combat readiness.

This means that the situation in the region is not yet stable and could escalate again at any time. Earlier, on April 7, Donald Trump announced that the US had achieved all its military objectives and informed about a two-week peace agreement.

According to this agreement, Iran agreed to open the strategically important Strait of Hormuz for ship traffic. However, Tehran officials are interpreting the situation differently, attempting to portray the peace as their own victory.

The Iranian side claims that Washington has effectively recognized the country's control over the Strait of Hormuz. Recall that the military clashes, which began on February 28 of this year with powerful strikes delivered by the US and Israel against Iran, caused serious changes in the region.

It was reported that as a result of these attacks, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and dozens of high-ranking regime officials were killed. In response, Tehran struck Israel, Persian Gulf states, and American military facilities in the region using missiles and drones.

Observers are conditionally evaluating the current situation as a pause. That is, the conflict has not yet reached its conclusion, and the development of future events remains dependent on political decisions and military actions.
