It was determined that Talent Show violated copyright
The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan issued an official warning to the LLC "Talent Show" company for unauthorized use of a musical work as the organizer of the "Voice" project. This was reported by Upl.uz.

The issue was related to the presentation of the phonogram of the song "Qora ko‘zli sanamjon," belonging to the people's artist Sherali Juraev, on the official YouTube channel called "The Voice of Uzbekistan." During the inspection process, it was found that permission for such use was not obtained from the copyright holder or their representatives.

At the same time, the management of "Talent Show" eliminated the violation that occurred before the ministry's inspection was completed. This situation ensured a softer measure – the issuance of an official warning, and the compensation collection process did not begin.

Ministry representatives remind media outlets and content users about the serious consequences of copyright infringement. According to the current law "On Copyright and Related Rights," compensation of 20 to 1000 times the basic calculation amount is provided for such violations.

These measures aim to ensure strict protection of intellectual property rights. The ministry calls on television and radio channels, as well as other content users, to strictly comply with the requirements of the law.

In cases of copyright infringement, citizens and organizations can contact the "1008" hotline or the email address info@adliya.uz. In Uzbekistan, the right to protect copyright, the author's name, and reputation remains permanently after the work passes into public ownership.

This law ensures the continuous protection of authors' rights.
