It has been reported that more than 10.5 million spectators attended concerts held in Uzbekistan in 2024. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to data from the National Statistics Committee as of January 1, 2025, there are 98 concert organizations operating in the country. Among the regions with the highest concert attendance, Tashkent city leads.
In Tashkent, 5,810,600 people watched concerts. Additionally, 505,200 people attended concerts in Samarkand region, 461,900 in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 403,300 in Surxondaryo region, and 397,100 in Khorezm region.
These figures indicate an increase in interest and demand for cultural events in the country. Especially in Tashkent and other regions, there is a noticeable rise in the number of participants in new-format concerts and mass events.
This situation positively impacts the development of the cultural sector. By expanding the activities of concert organizers and cultural institutions, opportunities to more effectively meet the cultural needs of the population are increasing.
