The famous singer and stage star Gul Tut, known by her stage name Gullu, tragically passed away. The incident took place on the night of September 26 in Harmanlar neighborhood, Cinarcik district, Yalova province.
According to information, the singer lost her balance and fell down from the balcony on the fifth floor of her house while playing music with her daughter and her friend. Doctors were unable to save her life.
Following the incident, various rumors spread on social media claiming that Gullu had committed suicide. However, the singer’s son Tugberk Gulter denied these reports and stated that his mother died as a result of an unfortunate accident.
He said: “I announce this news with deep sorrow. Last night was a great tragedy for our loved ones.
My mother, the esteemed artist Gullu, died due to an unfortunate accident. The rumors circulating on social media about suicide are completely unfounded.”
The Cinarcik district police department announced that an investigation has been initiated regarding the incident. Gul Tut was born on October 15, 1973, in Beyoglu, Turkey.
She was widely known as the author and performer of famous songs such as “Everything I Have Been,” “Sun Before Morning,” “Bendeki Sen,” and “Unutamazın Beni.” The artist’s death is considered a great loss to Turkish cultural life.
