A new spin-off of the Peaky Blinders series is being prepared

A new continuation of the famous "Peaky Blinders" series is being developed. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The new spin-off series, created in collaboration between Netflix and BBC, depicts events that took place in Great Britain in 1953 and the new generation of the Shelby family. According to Variety, the project will consist of at least two seasons.

According to the plot, in the years following World War II, the city of Birmingham begins building a new future from concrete and steel. However, the intense competition for the city's major reconstruction program leads to fierce and brutal clashes.

These events are portrayed within legendary stories. The main actors of the series have not yet been announced.

However, it has been revealed that Cillian Murphy, who played Thomas Shelby in the original "Peaky Blinders" series, will return to the project as an executive producer. Additionally, the series creator Steven Knight will also actively participate in the production process.

Earlier, Steven Knight announced that Cillian Murphy's character would return to the screen. Meanwhile, the sixth season of "Peaky Blinders" aired in 2022.

Instead of a final seventh season, the story about Tommy Shelby and his criminal group will conclude through a full-length film. The series was first broadcast in 2013 and quickly gained widespread popularity.

Five years later, it won a BAFTA award, being named "Best British Show." The following year, it won the "Best Drama Series" nomination at the National Television Awards.
