The court case regarding the Château Miraval winery between Hollywood actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt continues. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the Page Six publication, through a new court application, the actress revealed difficult and secret details of the divorce process. Jolie emphasized in her appeal that the divorce process itself was a significant psychological ordeal for both her and their children.
The actress asked the court to recover $33,000 in legal expenses from Brad Pitt. She stated that she would spend this amount responding to her ex-husband's application.
Jolie said that during the divorce, she left her Los Angeles home and the Miraval property to Pitt without compensation to help him. However, she and the children have not returned to these places because they associate them with painful memories.
According to information, the actress invested a large amount of money in the Miraval project. She gave up alimony and financial support for the children, considering selling her share the only solution.
Jolie also said that she became seriously concerned about her children's health and stopped her activities for two years to help them recover mentally. In 2017, Jolie offered Pitt to buy her share in the family property, but the negotiations ended unsuccessfully.
The actress recalled that the Miraval house was the center of their lives, where they got married and raised their children. The divorce from this house was a great trial for all of them.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt met in 2006 during the filming of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” and married in 2014. However, it became known that their marriage ended in 2016.
The divorce process was officially completed in August 2023. Currently, the relationship between the former spouses remains cold.
According to reports, none of Pitt's six children communicate with him, and some have removed their father's surname from their own.
