Serious competition has begun between two new films in Russian cinemas. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The fantasy film "Gorinich," starring Aleksandr Petrov, has surpassed the film "Alisa in Wonderland." According to the European film information agency, "Gorinich" earned over 338 million rubles during the opening weekend, with total revenue exceeding 358 million rubles.
This result allowed it to take the lead in cinema distribution. Although both films were released almost simultaneously, "Gorinich" managed to leave its rival behind.
The film "Alisa in Wonderland" is based on the famous writer Lewis Carroll's fairy tale and an audio play featuring Vladimir Vysotsky's songs. The lead role was played by Anna Peresild, and many well-known actors participated in it.
The advertising campaign paid great attention to the film and was considered successful. Nevertheless, during the opening weekend, "Alisa in Wonderland" took second place with earnings of 337 million rubles.
Thus, the film "Gorinich" attracted more interest among viewers during the first weekend of autumn and took the lead.
