Saida Mirziyoyeva shared her impressions from her trip to the city of Samarkand on her official Telegram channel. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
As emphasized by the Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as a result of large-scale restoration works and new exhibitions carried out in the city, historical monuments have acquired a new appearance. In particular, the mausoleum of Amir Timur, the Ulugbek and Tillakori madrasahs, as well as Registan Square, have preserved the historical traces of their era while gaining a modern look and being revived.
During her visit, Saida Mirziyoyeva became acquainted with hundreds of unique exhibits, including manuscripts of Mirzo Ulugbek and other historical archival documents. It was also noted that archival materials related to the history of Amir Timur are now presented in multimedia form, which is especially commendable.
Saida Mirziyoyeva called this place a "source of strength and inspiration." It is reported that in the near future, guests of the UNESCO General Conference will have the opportunity to appreciate Samarkand's rich historical heritage.
