This festival brought together theater groups from various regions of the country on one stage. During the event, different performances were showcased, leaving unforgettable impressions on the audience.
One of the notable events of the festival was the play based on Fyodor Dostoevsky's story "Bobok," staged by the Uzbekistan State Youth Theater. This play depicts unique events taking place in a cemetery and introduces thought-provoking themes to the viewers.
It covers topics such as conversations about the afterlife, debates, and the search for excuses for human actions. This stage work explores profound themes like morality and the meaning of life through absurd cemetery dialogues.
The audience highly appreciated the ideological content and directing of the play. Russian dramatic theaters from Tashkent, Fergana, and Samarkand presented their creative works at the festival.
The event was organized under the leadership of theater producer Irina Khilkova. The festival was held with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo and the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan.
