The court in Moscow has issued a verdict in the criminal case against blogger and business coach Ayaz Shabutdinov. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He was sentenced to serve seven years in a general regime colony. Additionally, the court fined him 5 million rubles and found him guilty of 113 counts of fraud.
The damage caused by these crimes exceeded 57 million rubles. Ayaz Shabutdinov was arrested in Moscow on November 3, 2023, and sent to a detention center.
According to the investigation, he and his partners, including the company "Like Center," sold courses promising clients the creation of successful businesses and high income. However, their activities turned out to be fraudulent.
During the trial, Shabutdinov initially denied his guilt but later admitted to his mistakes. He expressed his readiness to make sincere efforts to restore trust and apologized for raising excessive expectations regarding his educational programs.
He emphasized that his time in the detention center gave him the opportunity to deeply reflect on his actions. In February 2024, it was reported that seven new criminal cases of fraud were initiated against him.
