Famous Hollywood actress and director Angelina Jolie visited Ukraine as part of a humanitarian mission. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The country's mass media reported on this. It is known that Angelina Jolie visited medical institutions in the city of Kherson, where she met with doctors and patients.
She made the visit as a "Goodwill Ambassador" for UNICEF. Additionally, the actress also visited the military recruitment office in the Mykolaiv region on her way to Kherson.
The reason was related to her Ukrainian bodyguard being temporarily detained. This is not Jolie's first visit to Ukraine.
In April 2022, she was in the city of Lviv, visiting a center for children affected by the war and refugees. This current visit to Kherson was organized to provide material and moral support to the population in areas affected by the war and to draw the attention of the international community to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
Observers believe that through this visit, Angelina Jolie not only offered psychological support to medical workers but also made the people of Ukraine feel international solidarity once again.
