Director Denis Villeneuve has completed filming the third part of the "Dune" trilogy. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The film's plot is based on Frank Herbert's works "Dune Messiah" and "Children of Dune." It is reported that the main roles were played by famous actors such as Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, and Florence Pugh.
Technical changes were made in the third film. While the previous two films were shot in digital format, this time the footage was recorded on film.
This decision was proposed by "La La Land" cinematographer Linus Sandgren. He replaced Greg Fraiser and aimed to bring a more natural aesthetic to the final part of the trilogy.
Denis Villeneuve announced that he does not plan to continue the "Dune" films. He now intends to focus on working on a new James Bond project.
The world premiere of the final part of the "Dune" trilogy is scheduled for December next year. On the same day, the film "Avengers: Endgame" is also expected to be released.
"Dune" is a famous science fiction work created by Frank Herbert, with events taking place in the distant future. The story unfolds around the desert planet Arrakis.
This planet is the sole source of "spice," and powerful houses engage in a struggle to establish control over it.
