
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed deep condolences to the family members and close ones of the late renowned director and television journalist Mirabbos Mirzaahmedov on the occasion of his passing. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In his condolence message, the head of state emphasized that Mirabbos Mirzaahmedov's creative work has left an indelible mark in the hearts of the people. Mirabbos Mirzaahmedov, who passed away on November 19 at the age of 84, was known to many through the program “Otalar so‘zi – aqlning ko‘zi” (“Fathers’ Words – The Eye of Wisdom”).
For over 40 years, he brought new spirit, sincere tone, and deep meaning to this show, attracting the attention of viewers. In the presidential condolence letter, it was noted that Senate Chairperson Tanzila Norboyeva, Legislative Chamber Speaker Nuriddin Ismoilov, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, and other state officials also acknowledged Mirabbos Mirzaahmedov's contributions to the development of national television.
It was stated that the memory of the deceased will always be respectfully preserved in the hearts of the people. Mirabbos Mirzaahmedov was born on September 30, 1941, in the city of Tashkent.
The artist, who studied in the fields of theater and fine arts, began his career at the national television and radio company. He devoted himself to many projects as a director and chief director, and also worked as the author and host of popular programs.
Telefilms such as “Bahor qaytmaydi” (“Spring Does Not Return”), “Izlayman” (“I Am Searching”), “Qalbingga quloq sol” (“Listen to Your Heart”), “Bahs” (“Debate”), “Uch ildiz” (“Three Roots”), and “Dunyoning ishlari” (“World Affairs”) are examples of his people-oriented style and have earned wide public recognition. The creator’s work was duly honored by the state.
He was awarded the title “Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” as well as the “Labor Glory” and “Friendship” orders. Mirabbos Mirzaahmedov’s humility, intelligence, role model for youth, and immense contribution to the development of television will forever preserve his memory in the hearts of the people.
