Famous American actor Leonardo DiCaprio recently participated in the “Actors on Actors” show hosted by Jennifer Lawrence and surprised everyone with an unexpected confession. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He revealed that he has never watched his famous films, including the world-renowned movie “Titanic.” During the conversation, Lawrence asked DiCaprio which directors he would like to work with in the future.
The actor stated that he recently worked with Paul Thomas Anderson and hopes this collaboration will continue for a long time. He also recalled that he once declined a role in Anderson’s film “Boogie Nights.”
The reason was that the filming of this movie took place at the same time as “Titanic.” Leonardo DiCaprio said he does not currently single out any director as his “dream director.”
However, he highly praised directors like Damien Chazelle and Michael Mann. “Damien is very talented, and Michael Mann always works at a high level,” he said.
The most notable part of the conversation continued with questions about the film “Titanic.” Lawrence asked the actor whether he had at least watched this film, which was shot in 1997, later on.
Leonardo DiCaprio gave a brief answer: “No. I have never watched it at all.” He also added that he usually has a habit of not watching the films he stars in.
Jennifer Lawrence also admitted that she sometimes does not watch her own films, but joked that she would have watched a legendary movie like “Titanic” anyway.
