Zayn Malik returned to music with a new album

Zayn Malik, former member of One Direction and now a solo artist, is returning to the art scene with his new fifth studio album titled "Konnakol." This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The album is officially scheduled to be released on April 17, 2026. One of the main tracks of the album — “Die for Me” was released to the public on February 6 and quickly gained great popularity among music lovers.
Zayn calls this album “my most personal project.” According to him, the "Konnakol" album is closely connected with South Asian culture and its rich heritage.
The album cover features an image of a snow leopard, which is also considered one of the cultural symbols of the region. Zayn Malik performed several new songs from the album for the first time at a special residency show held in Las Vegas.
During the show, fans had the opportunity to listen to parts of the album in special audio sections. Before the album release, Malik emphasized that he has moved in a new direction in his creativity and has turned to his national roots.
He expresses ideas such as culture, heritage, and personal growth in a unique way not only through the musical genre but also through the overall concept of the album.
