Lola Eltoyeva won an international theater award

A solemn ceremony was held in Istanbul for the presentation of the TURKSOY international theater awards. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This prestigious event was organized for the eleventh time, honoring leading creatives working in the theater field of Turkic states with various nominations based on the results of 2025. Fortunately, at this event, Lola Eltoyeva, an actress of the Uzbekistan National Academic Drama Theater and Honored Artist of Uzbekistan, was declared the winner in the “Best Theater Actress” nomination and received the international award.
This achievement is not only an honor for the actress but also a great pride for the entire Uzbek theater art. This ceremony is held annually within the framework of the International Anatolian Theater Awards.
Its main goal is to strengthen creative cooperation among theater groups of Turkic states, develop the common cultural heritage, and further elevate the performing arts. Additionally, representatives from other countries were also recognized with awards in various categories.
Among them, Erenbak Toykenov from Kazakhstan won “Best Theater Director,” Sadir Niyazaqunov from Kyrgyzstan won “Best Stage Designer,” Ali Emirli from Azerbaijan won “Best Playwright,” and Batir Chariyev from Turkmenistan won “Best Theater Actor.” This international event is significant as one of the important occasions that strengthen cultural ties among Turkic peoples and contribute to the development of theater art.
