The Opening Ceremony of the International Festival of Nowruz Melodies Took Place in Tashkent

The opening ceremony of the 12th International Festival of Navruz Sounds, featuring national vocal ensembles and orchestras, was held in a bright and sincere atmosphere at the Turkiston Palace of Arts, one of Tashkent's modern and historical cultural centers. Zamin.uz reported on this event.

Before the start of this major artistic celebration, a special forum was organized for industry representatives, experienced masters, and participating groups from various regions. During the event, festival coordinator and renowned artist Feruza Abdurahimova delivered a speech, detailing the goals and significance of this creative forum.

She emphasized that over the past years, the festival has been a crucial source for discovering and developing new talents. She also expressed sincere gratitude to organizations and individuals with whom they regularly collaborate.

During the event, Anvar Tojiboyev, General Director of the Uzbekistan State Philharmonic, also gave a speech, noting that this artistic celebration organized by the Ministry of Culture and the Philharmonic has been gaining prestige and attention year after year. He warmly congratulated all creative groups and wished them success in their participation in the festival.

Today, the main creative competitions of the festival commenced. According to the schedule, over three days, all group performances will be carefully evaluated by a jury composed of experts.

As a result, the best creative groups will be awarded victory medals and diplomas. The festival provides an important opportunity not only for the development of national art but also for discovering young talents in our country and fully showcasing them on international stages.

This major event lays the foundation for Uzbek music and art to reach a new level.
