A group of artists were awarded the honorary title of People's Artist of Uzbekistan

In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a group of creators who have made a worthy contribution to the development of our country's culture and art have been honored with high state awards. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This list recognizes representatives of the arts who have won the love of our people through their many years of effective work and unique talent. In particular, the chairman of the Creative Union of Cinema Workers of Uzbekistan, renowned actor Matyoqub Matchonov, and the actress of the Uzbek National Academic Drama Theater, Ra'no Yarasheva, were awarded the honorary title of People's Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Additionally, the artistic director of the Palace of Culture of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, skilled actor Uchqun Tillayev, and Abdurahmon Xoltojiyev, a musician of the Maqom Ensemble named after Yunus Rajabiy of the Uzbek National Center of Maqom Art, were also honored with this high title. Such recognition is a prime example of the creators' services in elevating our national spirituality and educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and noble ideas.
Matyoqub Matchonov is one of the creators who established a unique school in Uzbek cinema and theater art, known for his sincere and lifelike images. The roles he performed have taken a deep place in the hearts of viewers, as the actor skillfully embodied characters of various natures in dozens of films such as "The Boy Who Hasn't Seen a Bazaar," "Shabnam," "Tilim Qursin," and "My Brother is a Bachelor."
The current achievement of the artist, who had previously been awarded the title of Honored Artist of Uzbekistan and the Order of Friendship, is a worthy result of his many years of hard work and loyalty to art. Ra'no Yarasheva has also become a beloved creator among our people through her significant activity on the theater stage and memorable roles in cinema.
Each of her performances is distinguished by its vitality and richness of emotion. These high awards are not only the personal achievements of the creators but also a symbol of high respect shown to the entire Uzbek artistic community.
