High state awards were presented to a group of art representatives

Today, May 29, a solemn event took place at the building of the Ministry of Culture. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During the event, state awards were presented to a group of art representatives who were deemed worthy of high titles and awards in accordance with the Presidential decree. The Minister of Culture, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, attended the event and sincerely congratulated all creators on their achievements.
In his speech, the Minister specifically touched upon the high attention currently being paid to the development of the field of culture and art, as well as the reforms being implemented within the system. Ozodbek Nazarbekov noted that this sector had been neglected for many years.
Problems accumulated over the years had acted as obstacles to the system's development. Many experienced specialists and creators had fallen into depression because their work was not properly valued.
Many had limited their activities to merely receiving a monthly salary or waiting for retirement. This had a negative impact on the prestige of the entire sector within society.
The care and recognition currently shown by the head of our state serve precisely to restore this lost prestige. The main goal is to return the lost status to society and to bring true talents back to the big stage.
In his interview, the Minister specifically acknowledged the head of state's attitude toward the art community. Our President gave clear instructions to encourage creators on the eve of holidays, lift their spirits, and continue such recognition in the future.
These awards are not only an evaluation of achievements reached but also a great responsibility for future activities. The conditions created by our state and the material and spiritual support provided inspire artists toward new creative milestones.
Such events help every person working in the field of culture feel that they are an integral and valued part of society. Decisions made based on a correct analysis of the problems in the system will serve to further increase the global prestige of Uzbek art.
