The arrival of Russia's People's Artist Alla Pugachyova in the city of Jurmala for the summer season is related to increased security measures and active participation in the cultural life of the resort. This was reported by Upl.uz.
As of July 18, 2025, the artist is staying with her family in a private villa, and according to sources, the rental conditions have been arranged on a preferential basis. At the same time, her participation is being used as a means to increase interest in the "Randevu" music festival organized by former Soviet pop singer Laima Vaikule, with whom she has collaborated for many years.
Some media outlets, including "Komsomolskaya Pravda," report that ticket sales for the event in July are low. In this regard, Pugachyova's participation in the festival is being evaluated as a strategic marketing step.
Announcements are being circulated to the public regarding the artist's invitation and participation in the festival, aimed at attracting additional spectators. On the other hand, Vaikule, who lives in Jurmala, regularly hosts Pugachyova, which further increases the likelihood of their joint performance on the "Dzintari" stage in the concert hall.
The villa chosen by Pugachyova's family for their summer vacation is an independent complex located in the second row near the beach. It has eight rooms, a private spa center and pool, a cinema, a tennis court, and a greenhouse among its amenities.
Although the property has changed hands several times in recent years, the previous rental conditions for the artist have been maintained. Additionally, she has been given a significant discount, which is explained by the decrease in demand for elite real estate in the area, as well as the decline in wealthy tourists coming from Russia.
This year, security measures around Pugachyova's family have been further strengthened. Continuous monitoring is carried out by two selected security personnel, one of whom also serves as a personal driver.
A housekeeper, personal chef, and household assistant have been hired for the villa's service. The villa's territory is guarded 24 hours a day and is equipped with a modern video surveillance system.
Despite many of her friends having their own homes in Jurmala, the Pugachyova family's decision to rent a separate villa is explained by respect for privacy and comfort, as well as financial benefit. At the same time, speculations are emerging in the information space about the possibility of Alla Pugachyova's visit to Russia.
According to the publication "Ridus," blogger Vadim Manukyan has suggested that her arrival could be related to an invitation to the "New Wave" music festival. He emphasized that there are no legal obstacles to her return, as Pugachyova does not have foreign agent status and there are no criminal prosecutions against her in Russia.
The villa named "Marta," which has been rented by Pugachyova in Jurmala for many years, is historically one of the most expensive and prestigious properties on the banks of Riga. At the peak of the market, its value exceeded 15 million euros.
