The Uzbek som continues to weaken as major currencies gain strength today. The US dollar opened at 12,437.15 UZS, rising by 62.6 UZS, signaling a steady increase. Tomorrow, the dollar is expected to climb further to 12,520.78 UZS, adding another 83.63 UZS.

The euro also showed gains, starting at 14,480.57 UZS with a 55.56 UZS rise. Analysts predict a sharper increase by tomorrow, reaching 14,634.29 UZS, an additional 153.72 UZS gain.

The Russian ruble edged up slightly to 153.34 UZS today, up 0.21 UZS, and is forecasted to continue this trend, hitting 153.70 UZS tomorrow with a 0.36 UZS rise.

The British pound opened at 16,715.53 UZS, gaining 123.73 UZS today. Expectations for tomorrow are even higher, with the rate projected at 16,880.52 UZS, a 165 UZS increase.

The Japanese yen strengthened to 83.85 UZS, up 0.55 UZS, and is set to rise further to 84.50 UZS tomorrow, gaining 0.65 UZS.

The Swiss franc increased by 50.99 UZS to 15,449.88 UZS today. Tomorrow, it is anticipated to surge to 15,590.56 UZS, a rise of 140.68 UZS.

Finally, the Chinese yuan rose by 9.90 UZS to 1,741.82 UZS today and is forecasted to reach 1,754.10 UZS tomorrow, adding 12.28 UZS.

Overall, the som is facing continuous depreciation against all major currencies, with stronger gains expected tomorrow. Market participants should prepare for further currency fluctuations in the coming days.
