The British pound sterling also continued its downward trend, decreasing by 113.15 soums to equal 17,099.95 soums. This may be related to the turbulent state of the pound in recent days.
The Russian ruble decreased by 3.10 soums, setting the rate at 156.68 soums. Experts believe that this change may be related to the economic dynamics in the Russian domestic market.
The Chinese yuan depreciated by 6.88 soums, now set at 1,779.52 soums. The decline of the yuan is explained by some uncertainties in the Chinese economy recently.
The Japanese yen also fell by 1.13 soums, now at 88.95 soums. This indicates that this currency is facing changes against the backdrop of low inflation rates.
The national currency of neighboring Kazakhstan, the tenge, also depreciated slightly. It decreased by 0.14 soums, now set at 24.95 soums per tenge.
