Central Bank: Exchange rate changes announced

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has announced the official exchange rates effective from February 25, 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to this information, most major currencies have slightly lost value, with only the Chinese yuan showing growth. According to the official rates: - The US dollar (USD) is 12,187.68 soms, decreasing by 48.45 soms.
- The euro (EUR) is 14,366.84 soms, decreasing by 73.02 soms. - The Russian ruble (RUB) is 159.09 soms, decreasing by 0.01 soms.
- The British pound sterling (GBP) is 16,453.37 soms, decreasing by 76.42 soms. - The Japanese yen (JPY) is 78.20 soms, decreasing by 0.84 soms.
- The Swiss franc (CHF) is 15,748.39 soms, decreasing by 54.44 soms. - The Chinese yuan (CNY) is 1,771.54 soms, increasing by 0.42 soms.
These rates will be effective from February 25. Changes in currency exchange rates are formed depending on the situation in international financial markets and internal supply-demand factors.
