Gold Prices Increased in Uzbekistan: High Demand in Banks

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan announced the selling prices of measured gold bars on February 23. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The price of 1 gram of gold increased by 51,000 soums compared to the previous value. Measured gold bars are being sold at the following prices: 5 grams — 10,281,000 soums, 10 grams — 20,562,000 soums, 20 grams — 41,124,000 soums, 50 grams — 102,809,000 soums, 100 grams — 205,618,000 soums.
These gold bars can be purchased at the offices of all banks in Uzbekistan. Before visiting a bank office, do not forget to confirm the availability of gold bars.
Due to the rapid increase in gold prices, the sales volume has also risen. There is a possibility that gold bars may run out in many bank offices.
