Uzbekistan reduced wheat flour imports in 2025

According to data from the National Statistics Committee, in 2025 Uzbekistan imported 422.6 thousand tons of wheat flour from 8 foreign countries. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The total value of this import amounted to 124.6 million US dollars. It was revealed that the import volume decreased by 48.3 thousand tons or 10.3 percent compared to 2024.
This data indicates a reduction in external purchases in the flour market. In 2025, the largest amount of wheat flour imported to Uzbekistan came from Kazakhstan, totaling 399.8 thousand tons.
Additionally, 22.1 thousand tons of flour were supplied from Russia. The shares of other countries were relatively smaller: 425 tons from Tajikistan, 90 tons from the USA, and 50 tons from Kyrgyzstan were imported.
The remaining 71.3 tons of flour accounted for other countries. This data accurately reflects the country's situation regarding flour imports.
