Leading ten companies in the trade sector made a significant contribution to the budget

The Tax Committee of Uzbekistan announced the lists of the two largest top ten taxpayers in the trade sector for 2025. Zamin.uz reported on this.
These figures clearly demonstrate the decisive importance of large business entities in the country's economy. These leading companies have made total tax payments amounting to 2 trillion 752.4 billion soums.
Interestingly, they constitute only a small fraction of the more than 154 thousand legal entities operating in the trade sector. However, precisely this group has been providing nearly eight percent of the total tax revenue collected by the sector.
This situation clearly illustrates how significantly large companies contribute to the budget. According to reporting documents, the largest top ten companies achieved a total turnover of 68 trillion 46.9 billion soums.
Among various types of tax payments, value-added taxes hold the largest share, with a volume of 961.7 billion soums. Excise taxes and corporate profit tax payments follow next.
Furthermore, personal income tax and social contributions are also of significant importance. These indicators demonstrate the extensive impact of leading firms on the financial system and their increasing payment volumes based on their employees.
At the top of the list of largest taxpayers is Anglesay Food company with payments totaling 385.3 billion soums. Following it are Uzum Market and Namangan-Istiqlol Park society.
The list also includes well-known names such as Total Oil Invest, Ung Petro, and Alif Moliya. This ranking confirms the diversity of the trade sector in retail sales, fuel distribution, and various consumer goods.
Transparency measures implemented by the Tax Committee are aimed at publicly revealing large taxpayers contributing to the development of the country's economy until mid-March 2026. This will serve to further improve the investment climate in the future.
