The dollar will rise by 7-8 som in March; differences between bank exchange rates

On March 25, 2026, the exchange rate of the US dollar in the Republic of Uzbekistan is expected to increase by 7-8 soums. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This change is occurring due to the balance of supply and demand in the foreign exchange market. Commercial banks have set the most favorable rates for purchasing dollars from the population as follows.

At Garantbank, the dollar exchange rate is 12,170 soums. At Kapitalbank, the rate is around 12,160 soums.

At Hayotbank and BRB Bank, the dollar exchange rate remains at 12,150 soums. Additionally, the most favorable rates for purchasing dollars are set at 12,195 soums at Apexbank, 12,200 soums at Octobank, and 12,210 soums at OFB and Xalq Bank.

The rates offered by banks may change throughout the day. The dollar exchange rate is also constantly updated at currency exchange branches.

Differences in rates may occur depending on market conditions. Therefore, it is recommended to check the updated rates before buying or selling dollars.

This situation is being implemented with the aim of creating favorable conditions for citizens in currency exchange.
