The Central Bank Announced New Exchange Rates for March 2026

The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan announced new official exchange rates for foreign currencies against the som, effective March 30, 2026. Zamin.uz reported on this matter.

The Chinese yuan experienced an increase of 1.93 som and was set at the level of 1,765.39 som. These indicators fluctuate in accordance with conditions in the global market.
At the same time, a decrease in the Euro exchange rate was observed. It fell by 30.71 som, making one euro equal to 14,049.22 som.
The British pound sterling dropped by 36.45 som, amounting to 16,228.55 som. The Swiss franc decreased by 82.60 som, reaching a value of 15,294.08 som.
The Japanese yen also decreased by 0.09 som, with one yen costing 76.28 som. These updates allow the population of Uzbekistan to plan accurately when purchasing or exchanging foreign currencies.
