Mobile phone imports in Uzbekistan increased by nearly sixty-five percent
In January and February 2026, the import of mobile devices to Uzbekistan from foreign countries increased significantly. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to data from the Statistics Agency, a total of 909,951 phones were imported from thirteen countries in the first two months of this year. The total value of these devices amounted to 175.4 million US dollars.

Compared to the same period last year, it can be observed that the import volume increased by 357,400 units or 64.7 percent. According to analyses, the majority of mobile devices entering the Uzbekistan market come from China.

Within two months, 704,353 phones were imported from China. Vietnam ranks second, with 183,996 mobile devices brought in from this country.

India took third place with 12,572 phones. Additionally, countries such as the Republic of Korea, Kyrgyzstan, and Indonesia also have a place in the import geography.

Specifically, 4,924 units were delivered from Korea, 1,923 units from Kyrgyzstan, and 1,582 units from Indonesia. The remaining 601 phones were imported from other countries.

The increasing demand for mobile communication devices in our country and the widespread implementation of digital technologies are directly influencing the growth of import volumes. This statistic indicates that consumers in the local market have a high interest in modern technology.
