Uzbekneftegaz significantly reduced its accounts receivable

Uzbekneftegaz has reduced its accounts receivable by 1.3 trillion soums since the beginning of this year. This information was presented by Sukhrob Khamraev, first deputy chairman of the board for finance, transformation and privatisation.
According to the results of the first quarter, the enterprise main production indicators exceeded the planned level. In particular, the volume of industrial output reached 106%, and total revenues reached 110%. Investment indicators amounted to 160%, while export volumes reached 130%. At the same time, the enterprises within the system transferred 1.9 trillion soums to the state budget in the form of taxes and other mandatory payments.
As a result of the effective organisation of geological exploration and drilling works, natural gas reserves amounting to 2 billion cubic metres and about 40 thousand tonnes of liquid hydrocarbons were identified. Plans for the second quarter are even more ambitious: gas reserves are to be increased to 5 billion cubic metres, and liquid hydrocarbon reserves to 100 thousand tonnes.
Within the framework of the programme to increase natural gas production, important works are planned for April, May and June. In particular, 22 new wells will be commissioned, major repairs will be carried out on 31 wells, and 21 technical measures will be implemented. These actions will make it possible to increase the daily volume of gas production by 6.7 million cubic metres.
