Gold Bar Prices Per Gram Decrease in Uzbekistan

The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has released updated sales prices for standardized gold bars as of April 17. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the latest data, the value set per gram of the precious metal has decreased by 4,000 soums compared to the previous figure. Such changes are directly related to fluctuations in gold prices on the global market and internal economic factors.
Currently, the prices for gold bars of various weights are set as follows: a 5-gram gold bar is valued at 9,676,000 soums. Additionally, a 10-gram bar costs 19,351,000 soums, while a 20-gram bar is priced at 38,702,000 soums.
For those looking to make larger investments, 50-gram gold bars are set at 96,756,000 soums, and the heaviest 100-gram bars are priced at 193,512,000 soums. Citizens can purchase these standardized gold bars at all branches and service centers of commercial banks operating within the country.
It is worth noting that gold is considered a reliable tool for preserving and increasing capital in the long term. Consequently, public interest in this asset is growing day by day.
At the same time, an important point should be mentioned. Before visiting bank branches, it is recommended to verify the availability of gold bars of the chosen weight via telephone or the bank's official mobile applications.
Recently, due to rapid changes in gold prices and a sharp increase in demand, some bank offices have experienced stock shortages. Therefore, re-checking the information before making a purchase will help save time.
