Dollar Exchange Rate Expected to Decrease and Drop in Uzbekistan

Another decline in the US dollar exchange rate is being observed in the financial market of Uzbekistan, as reported by Zamin.uz. According to industry experts' analysis, a significant decrease in the value of foreign currency is expected in banks.
Specifically, as of April 24, 2026, the dollar exchange rate is projected to decrease by an average of 27-28 soums. These changes are linked to the current state of supply and demand in the foreign exchange market, creating favorable opportunities for citizens.
Currently, various rates for the purchase and sale of foreign currency are in effect among commercial banks. The highest and most profitable rates for purchasing dollars from the public were recorded at Kapitalbank, which offers 12,030 soums per dollar.
Additionally, financial institutions such as BRB, Infinbank, and MKBank have set the currency purchase rate at 12,020 soums. These figures are ideal for customers wishing to exchange foreign currency into the national currency.
There are also several favorable offers for citizens wishing to buy dollars from banks. The most optimal selling prices are formed at Anorbank at 12,050 soums and Orient Finans Bank at 12,055 soums.
Furthermore, Hayotbank and Davrbank serve customers with rates of 12,060 soums and 12,070 soums, respectively. It should be noted that exchange rates may change during the day.
Therefore, it is recommended to call bank branches or recheck current prices through their official applications before performing exchange operations. Such changes are considered one of the next steps towards ensuring stability in the country's economy and regulating monetary policy.
