Number of Billionaires Worldwide Reaches Record High

The number of individuals with wealth exceeding one billion dollars has been growing rapidly in recent years. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Data from the fortieth anniversary ranking of the famous Forbes publication clearly confirms these changes. It is observed that as a result of economic processes and technological progress, the layer of ultra-wealthy individuals is expanding more than ever before.
Currently, the number of billionaires worldwide has reached 3,428. This figure is nearly 400 more than last year's data.
According to analysis, the emergence of almost one new billionaire every day in various parts of the world is a unique manifestation of economic growth. The total capital of these wealthy individuals is estimated at around $20.1 trillion.
To understand the scale of this figure, it is enough to compare it with the annual Gross Domestic Product of the United States. According to data, the size of the US economy is approximately $30 trillion.
Famous entrepreneur Elon Musk occupies the top spot on the Forbes list. His vast fortune has been built primarily on the success of high-tech companies such as Tesla and SpaceX.
Among the world's richest people are also major entrepreneurs like Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Amazon head Jeff Bezos, and Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg. Additionally, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has entered the top ten for the first time due to the massive growth in the field of artificial intelligence.
In the ranking of Russian billionaires, Alisher Usmanov holds the tenth position. Overall, technology and innovation are becoming the primary factors for wealth accumulation in the modern economy.
Such changes signal the beginning of a new era in the global financial market.
