US Dollar Expected to Decline in Uzbekistan's Currency Market

According to the current situation in Uzbekistan's currency market, the US dollar is entering another period of decline. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Based on data from bankers and economic analysts, significant changes in exchange rates are expected. On the first day of the new week, April 27, 2026, the dollar is projected to decrease further by approximately 6 or 7 soums.
This trend is attributed to market stability and the state of foreign exchange reserves. Currently, due to increased competition among commercial banks in the country, favorable rates are being offered to customers.
Specifically, Ipotekabank and Kapitalbank are providing the highest and most advantageous offers for selling dollars. The rate at Ipotekabank is set at 12,000 soums, while Kapitalbank offers 11,995 soums.
Meanwhile, financial institutions such as BRB and Infinbank have established selling rates at very similar levels, around 11,990 soums. These shifts in the currency market provide entrepreneurs and ordinary citizens with an opportunity to revise their financial plans.
According to experts, the decline in the dollar rate may be linked to the strengthening of the domestic market and an increase in economic activity. The dynamics of exchange rates will become clearer in the coming days.
