The reforms implemented in Uzbekistan to improve the business environment and create favorable conditions for foreign investors are yielding positive results, Zamin.uz reports. As the process of attracting foreign capital into the country's economy accelerates, the number of enterprises established with foreign investment is consistently growing.

These indicators signify not only economic stability but also the elevation of international cooperation to a new level. According to the latest data provided by the Statistics Agency, as of April 1, 2026, a total of 19,072 enterprises with foreign investment are operating in Uzbekistan.

These figures attest to the country's growing investment attractiveness. Business structures established together with foreign partners cover almost all sectors of the economy, playing a crucial role in creating new jobs and introducing modern technologies.

Analysis by type of economic activity shows that trade remains the most popular sector among foreign investors. Today, 6,814 enterprises operate successfully in this field.

The industrial sector also holds strategic importance for investors, with 3,831 registered enterprises. Additionally, 1,544 enterprises operate in the construction sector, and 1,488 in the field of information technology and communications.

These figures confirm the high interest in infrastructure development and digitalization processes in the country. Foreign capital participation is also significant in the service and social sectors.

Specifically, there are 839 enterprises in accommodation and food services, and 601 in transportation and storage services. In agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, 485 enterprises are active, while 225 operate in healthcare and social services.

The remaining 3,245 enterprises continue their work in various other sectors of the economy. Such comprehensive development contributes to the multifaceted and sustainable growth of Uzbekistan's economy.
