Number of entrepreneurs with high sustainability rating grows in Uzbekistan

In Uzbekistan, positive growth indicators are being recorded as part of the system for assessing the performance of business entities. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
As of April this year, more than 2,100 business entities in our country have been awarded a high sustainability rating. It is gratifying that 335 of them were recognized as worthy of the highest AAA category.
Since the introduction of this rating system, the number of entrepreneurs running sustainable operations has nearly increased by one and a half times, which testifies to the consistent improvement of the business environment and the quality of management in the country. Based on the analysis carried out, specific figures regarding the overall status of entrepreneurs have been formulated.
Currently, more than 64,000 entrepreneurs have a medium sustainability rating, 226,000 — satisfactory, and around 295,000 — low. The main share of entrepreneurs with a high rating belongs to enterprises operating in the trade sector.
The number of enterprises showing high results in the services, industry, agriculture and construction sectors is also growing. In particular, in the services sector, more than 650, and in industry — more than 500 enterprises have demonstrated high sustainability indicators.
By region, the city of Tashkent retains absolute leadership. The capital has registered more than 700 business entities with a high rating.
The next places are occupied by Tashkent, Samarkand and Fergana regions. These figures confirm that the financial discipline of business entities, the timely fulfilment of tax obligations and the level of compliance with current legislation are steadily increasing.
The introduction of the sustainability rating fosters healthy competition among entrepreneurs and also allows them to take advantage of various benefits and preferences. Such positive changes serve the sustainable development of the country's economy.
