Growth of 30% was observed in Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical production.

According to data from the State Statistics Committee, in January–April 2026, large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced pharmaceutical products and preparations worth approximately 1.9 trillion soums. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The main production capacities are concentrated in the capital and its surrounding areas. Tashkent City, with output of 1.2 trillion soums, accounts for nearly 63% of the republic's total volume.
Sirdaryo Region ranks second with 261.5 billion soums. Tashkent Region follows with an indicator of 123.5 billion soums.
Namangan Region contributed 106.2 billion soums, Samarqand Region 78.4 billion soums, Fergana Region 40.3 billion soums, Andijan Region 39.9 billion soums, Surkhandarya Region 30.3 billion soums, Kashkadarya Region 7.8 billion soums, and Bukhara Region 4.7 billion soums. Nearly 63% of the total products manufactured in the republic fall under the capital's share. Moreover, Sirdaryo and Tashkent Regions also hold strong positions as major pharmaceutical clusters.
