In Uzbekistan, the e-commerce sector has become one of the most important and promising trading platforms for small and medium-sized business representatives. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Currently, over 18,000 entrepreneurs are operating on the Uzum Market platform. Notably, 90 percent of these sellers are small and medium-sized enterprises.

This indicates that the development of the digital economy in our country is positively impacting the entrepreneurial environment. According to the latest data provided by the platform, the annual total trade volume has exceeded 500 million US dollars.

This figure represents a growth of one and a half times compared to the previous year. The number of orders placed throughout the year reached 34 million.

At the same time, the total turnover of sellers has increased by 60 percent on an annual basis. These figures confirm that electronic commerce is becoming widespread among the population and serves as a source of income for entrepreneurs.

The number of active sellers on the platform has grown by 32 percent, and the variety of products offered has increased by 25 percent. Uzum Market is not only becoming a trading platform but also evolving into a center for training entrepreneurs and enhancing their skills.

Specifically, nearly 9,000 people have received training in the specially established academy. According to company analyses, entrepreneurs who successfully completed these training courses have seen their average income increase by 3.5 times.

Furthermore, special attention is being paid to training qualified specialists for the sector. To this end, specialized courses have been launched in the field of e-commerce management.

This initiative aims to train a new generation of personnel equipped with modern knowledge in the e-commerce sector and to meet the demand for skilled professionals in the market. Such a systematic approach is expected to elevate the culture of digital trade in our country to a new level.
