Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov announced the update of credit terms

It has been announced that changes have been made to the practice of determining credit, subsidy, and compensation terms in Uzbekistan. One.uz reports on this.

President’s Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov announced this on his Telegram channel. Under the new regulations, the Ministry of Economy and the Central Bank will update financing mechanisms each quarter, taking into account the potential of the regions.

In addition, district headquarters will change the working system of governors’ deputies in the mahallas (neighborhoods). They will transition to a “project-based” working format.

In this regard, work will be organized based on the capabilities of each region and the projects that can be implemented. To this end, governors’ deputies operating in 8,992 mahallas across the country will be appointed as acting officials.

Dedicated and initiative-taking personnel will be reappointed to their current positions. Governors’ deputies who fail to perform their duties to the required standard will be replaced.

Renewal of the Governors’ Deputies System The purpose of the renewal is to make the work of governors’ deputies efficient, transparent, and results-oriented. They will now work not only through formal documentation but on a project basis, based on the real needs of the mahalla.

This approach helps in the proper allocation of resources, monitoring the implementation of projects, and improving staff skills. The new system is designed to make local governance more efficient and accountable.

Each deputy will now select projects suitable for their region’s capabilities and monitor their implementation from start to finish. This reduces bureaucratic processes and enables prompt assistance to the mahalla.
