Material assistance was provided to those affected by the fire at the gas filling compressor station in the Qovqodalin district of the Kashkadarya region, initiated by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Upl.uz.
It was previously reported that the fire that broke out at this station on July 16 claimed the lives of four people. According to the Qovqodalin district administration, compensation has been provided to the victims and the families of the deceased.
In particular, each family of the deceased received a cash payment of one hundred million soums. Fifty million soums were allocated to those who were injured and undergoing treatment.
The funds were delivered to the residences of the victims or medical institutions. Payments were personally handed over in the presence of the district governor and local government representatives.
Additionally, the state has taken full responsibility for covering all medical and medication expenses for the victims. They will receive free medical assistance from qualified doctors until they fully recover.
