On July 21 of this year, at approximately 10:40, an earthquake occurred in the territory of Kyrgyzstan. The epicenter of the earthquake is located in the city of Osh, at a depth of 10 kilometers from the surface.
The magnitude at the epicenter was 3.7, and the strength of the earthquake was 4. In Uzbekistan, underground tremors were felt in two districts of Andijan region.
In the Khonobod district, this strength was estimated at 2-3, while in the Qurgontepa district it was 2. The distance between the epicenter of the earthquake and the city of Tashkent is 348 kilometers.
Thus, the earthquake that occurred in Kyrgyzstan was also felt in some areas of Uzbekistan. Specialists are urging the population to remain calm and take precautions.
