Violence occurred in a store in Andijan, a criminal case has been opened

The press service of the Andijan region police commented on the video circulating on social networks. This was reported by Upl.uz.

Information spread on social networks about a citizen born in 1992 using physical force against a girl born in 2005 who worked in his store. However, it was clarified that this incident occurred on December 15, 2024, in the city of Andijan.

So far, the victim has not reported the use of physical force to the law enforcement agencies. A criminal case has been initiated against the citizen under part 2 of the article "Illegal detention with violence" of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The punishment for this crime is imprisonment for a term of 3 to 5 years. The suspect has currently been detained and taken into custody.
