
According to the press service of the Interior Ministry of Bukhara region, a citizen suspected of fraud has been detained. This was reported by Upl.uz.
Employees of the internal affairs bodies and the Prosecutor General's Office conducted a special operational event in cooperation. During the event, a resident of the Gijduvan district, currently living in Bukhara city and serving as the deputy head of a cluster, was detained while receiving an advance payment of 9,000 US dollars.
This money had been previously processed with a special chemical substance. It was revealed that this individual had previously gained the trust of another citizen and promised to officially re-register a land plot located in the Qagan district, with a total area of 25 hectares, through a notary's office for 29,000 US dollars.
This land plot had previously been leased for gardening for a period of 49 years. A criminal case has been initiated under the article "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding this incident.
Currently, investigative actions are underway.
