This information was provided by the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Compared to the same period last year, the number of passengers increased by 14.2 million or 10.8 percent.
With the development of metro infrastructure and the introduction of new technologies, the number of passengers is expected to increase further. This will further strengthen the metro as the most efficient and environmentally friendly public transport within the city.
