The press service of the Internal Affairs Department of Surkhandarya region reported that in the Muzrabod district, traffic police officers stopped a "Matiz" brand car. This was reported by Upl.uz.
The driver of the vehicle was a man born in 1946, and upon checking his documents, it was found that he was driving under the influence of alcohol. It was also revealed that this citizen did not have a driver's license.
Considering the citizen's age, the consequences of the violation were explained to him, and he was escorted home. Upon arriving home, the man was handed over to his wife.
He expressed gratitude to the traffic police officers for their understanding approach towards him. He promised not to drive without a license and while intoxicated in the future.
He explained the reason for driving without documents by stating that he usually does not drive and at that moment was only moving within the neighborhood on roads not exceeding one kilometer. It was particularly emphasized that this situation contradicts legal requirements and traffic rules.
