Starting today, August 1, new rules will be implemented in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Upl.uz.
If a subscriber has an outstanding debt for solid household waste collection services, their electricity payment may be temporarily restricted. Information about unpaid debts will be transferred from the "Clean Space" system to the billing system of "Territorial Electric Networks" JSC by the 3rd of each month.
Then, by the 5th, subscribers will receive an SMS notification from the number 2100. It will warn them to pay the debt within 5 days.
If the payment is not made within the specified period, the ability to pay for electricity will be suspended. The service will be automatically restored as soon as the debt is fully settled.
These changes will only apply to debts incurred after July 1, 2025. The responsibility for accurate calculations is assigned to the sanitation services.
If waste collection services were not provided, recalculations will be made. These updates are being implemented to improve payment collection and enhance the quality of waste collection.
Management companies and sanitation services aim to focus more effectively on cleanliness in cities and districts through this method. For subscribers, this will serve as an incentive to make timely payments and prevent inconveniences.
If there are any questions related to calculations or services, you can contact 1205 at any time, 24 hours a day.
