This incident occurred in the Einstein Park in the city of Netanya, located in the central district of the country. According to reports, the accused attacked a woman who was resting in a public place without any reason.
The materials presented to the court indicate that while the woman was sitting on a bench, a man under the influence of alcohol passed by her. After a short while, he returned and struck her in the facial area without speaking to her.
The victim immediately contacted the police. The police arrived at the scene and apprehended the suspect within a short period of time.
After initial investigative actions, the man was taken into custody. During the investigation, the court granted several requests to extend the detention period.
On August 3, 2025, the prosecution department of the central district officially charged the man and sent the case to court. The law on the rights of crime victims, adopted in Israel in 2001, is in effect.
