There will be a hot water interruption in Shaykhontohur in August
Veolia Energy Tashkent company announced planned maintenance work in the Shaykhontohur district as the operator of the capital's heating supply system. This was reported by Upl.uz.

In this regard, there may be interruptions in the continuous supply of hot water in some areas during August. These works will be carried out as part of preparations for the heating season during the summer period.

According to the company's press service, specialists will focus on repairing and modernizing the equipment of local boiler houses. The work program includes replacing outdated parts and checking pump equipment.

These measures are necessary to ensure the stable and continuous operation of the heating supply system during the autumn-winter season. The interruption of hot water supply started on August 4 and will cover several neighborhoods in the Shaykhontohur district.

According to the work schedule, the hot water supply will be interrupted in various areas for two days in turn. The schedule for the interruption of hot water supply is as follows: August 4-5: "Navoiy 39" boiler house, 39 Navoiy Street (Olmazor neighborhood); August 6-7: "Navoiy 37" boiler house, 37 Navoiy Street (Olmazor neighborhood); August 11-12: "Navoiy 33" boiler house, 33 Navoiy Street (O'qchi neighborhood); August 13-14: "Navoiy 29" boiler house, 29 Navoiy Street (O'qchi neighborhood); August 18-19: "Navoiy 27" boiler house, 27 Navoiy Street (O'qchi neighborhood); August 20-21: "Ko'kcha 1a" boiler house, 1-12 and 60a houses on Ziyo Said Street (Ko'kcha neighborhood); August 25-26: "Zafarobod 12" boiler house, houses 1a, 2a, 2, 8, 9, 10 on KHY Street and kindergarten No. 456 (Zafarobod neighborhood); August 27-28: "Ipakchi 103" boiler house, houses 102, 103, 107-110, 114-116 on Istrohat Street and cottages 105 and 106 (Ipakchi neighborhood).

Veolia Energy Tashkent representatives apologized to the public for the temporary inconveniences, emphasizing that these technical works are crucial for the reliability of the capital's heating supply system. It should be noted that the planned summer interruptions are a routine part of preparations for the heating season.

Earlier, in July, the company had to stop hydraulic testing of hot water networks due to a pipe rupture incident. They are planning to develop safer diagnostic methods.

Additionally, according to recent discussions, it is planned that hot water and heating tariffs in the capital will be reviewed once or twice a year. This measure aims to gradually reduce state subsidies and decrease the burden on the budget.

Centralized heating supply systems, particularly those used in Tashkent, are widespread in Eastern Europe and Scandinavian countries. Such systems stand out for their energy efficiency and environmental cleanliness compared to individual heating methods for separate buildings, especially when using cogeneration technology that produces heat and electricity simultaneously.
