A special operational event was held in cooperation with the State Security Service and customs officials in Tashkent city. During the event, it was revealed that a person from Namangan, born in 1985, received 1000 US dollars from the head of an enterprise operating in Namangan region and was detained.
This person introduced himself as a State Security Service officer and promised to assist in ensuring that there would be no problems during the customs clearance process of the enterprise. He demanded 500 US dollars for each batch of goods.
During the investigation, it was revealed that this citizen had previously received 1000 dollars from the head of the enterprise to expedite the customs clearance process for auto parts. A criminal case has been initiated regarding this situation, and investigative actions are underway.
